W.S. Dennison has been presented with a top accolade at the annual Export & Freight Transport & Logistics Awards.

The company was presented with the ‘Haulier of the Year’ award, sponsored by Mercedes Benz UK Ltd and Mercedes Benz Truck & Van (NI) Ltd, at a glittering ceremony at the Waterfront Hall in Belfast on 14 September.

The criteria for the award included running a high quality, well-maintained fleet (of up to 50 vehicles) as well as being able to demonstrate “a good reputation for efficient, respected service” and offering “good business practice in all aspects of the operation”.

The judges felt that, although W.S. Dennison is not the typical haulier, the Company’s ability to carry out such specialist work in a niche sector of the transport and logistics market, and to such high customer service standards, made them worthy winners.

With 20 separate categories, the annual Transport & Logistics awards, organised by the Hillsborough based publishers of Export & Freight magazine, 4SM (NI) Ltd., is widely regarded as the premier event in the Irish Transport & Logistics calendar, attracting entries, support and sponsorship from all the leading players in the industry.
